We opened four years ago this weekend. We're excited to be a big-girl store now.
It also happens to be George Romero's birthday as well. If you know us, you know that we
love zombies. In fact, if you stop by this weekend, you just might fall in love with one as well!
We want to thank all of you for continuing to support our little shop. It's important to us that everyone feels at home here. This is Columbia's store. From artists, sellers, buyers, musicians, etc., everyone does their own part to make Sid and Nancy special. And we thank you for that.
To celebrate, everything regularly priced is 20% off this entire weekend!
[Attention boys: this is the perfect time to come get some special jewelry for your sweetheart.
There is a holiday coming up in case you didn't know.]
This weekend we also have some awesome giveaways for some pretty exciting stuff going
on around in Columbia. If you're on a tight budget, come down anyway, if only for
the entertainment, and to register. It's totally free to participate, and you don't have to
be present to win (although some prizes are age sensitive).
Prizes include:
The Half and Half: poster and scrapbox of your choice
Columbia Museum of Art: Tickets to Arts and Draughts
SceneSC: Tickets to SceneSC Sample Release Show and a copy of the CD
Body Rites: two gift certificates $60 and $100
What's Love: two tickets to this AWESOME event at 701 Whaley
Nickelodeon Theater: annual membership package
Five Points Association: package for two to St.Pat's in Five Points
Blue Q: awesome grab bags from our favorite vendor
and we're throwing a $50 and $100 gift certificate in the pot as well!
Speaking of us, have you gotten a chance to check out our new website?
We got those creative nerds at Penelope Design to do it for us,
let us know what you think!
On another exciting note:
We will be a ticket outlet for both
What's Love: Behind Closed Doors and St. Pat's Festival in 5 Points!
Call ahead for pricing and payment options
